Q What type of work do you do?
A I specialise in carpentry and plastering, but am happy to do tiling and flooring and all manner of interior home improvements.
Q Will you do small jobs, like adjusting doors and fitting shelves?
A Yes, you can hire me for a minimum of half a day (4 hours) and I will arrive with a well stocked van containing tools, fixing, sealants and everything needed to complete most jobs.
Q How much do you charge?
A For the minimum half a day (4 hours) it’s £120, then £30 to £35 for each additional hour depending on the project, task and machinery needed. This will always be agreed in advance.
Q Can you take on bigger jobs?
A Yes, you can hire me to do a detailed design and plan for bigger jobs, and I will quote for completion of the work if that’s what you need.

Q I’d like to discuss my requirements with you, is it OK to call you?
A Yes, I’m normally available between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, but if I can’t answer or you want to call out of hours, please leave a message and I’ll get back to you on the next working day.
Q How can I pay you?
A In the interest of transparency, all work is invoiced at the end of each day and unless otherwise agreed will need to be paid at that point. I have a card reader.
Q Are there any hidden costs?
A No, included in my hourly rate is the cost of

Q What area do you cover?
A Within a 12 mile radius of Stroud

Q Do you supply the materials?
A Yes they can be supplied at cost but collected on your time. If the materials cost more than £50 I will need payment in advance.
Q Can you remove the waste?
A I can bag up any waste materials but I’m not in a position to remove it. I can arrange a skip on your behalf if necessary.
